Reloder 33 in stock for sale near me shares some of the same features as Reloder 17. Reloder 33 uses the same proprietary process of impregnated kernels with burn rate control elements. This allows for a more consistent pressure curve with a delayed spike that adds as much as 150 ft./sec. over similar powders. Designed with the 338 Lapua Magnum in mind, this powder also works well with other large capacity magnums and ultra-magnums. Alliant Powder Re33 1lb

Currently I am using RL-33 in 338LM and 300 RUM and it works great in both. Curiously a bit better in the RUM. The kernels are individually large and can cause ‘sticking’ in the powder measure, a minor inconvenience. 95 grains for each brings both to load book max velocity. The powder density is such that it doesn’t fill the case however it works well anyway. That’s the important part-accuracy and velocity.

Just wanted to see how Reloader 33 stacked up against Retumbo for a .338 Lapua mag. Took more powder to get same muzzle velocity, but overall it performed extremely well.
