This is a good powder
I use this powder reloading my .257 w/ 80 grain BarnesTTSX, and for my 120 Grain loads with the 6.5 CM. One of the best in a powder measure- small grains, so meters very accurately ,(the name says so) and gives very consistent velocities. I started using it to replace 4064 for the very reason.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Excellent 7.65 mm powder
Tried this powder in an unmodified 7.65 mm Model 1891 Argentine Mauser, because load data from the powder manufacturer (Western) showed lower pressures with good velocity in this caliber. With 150 gr. bullets this powder produces velocity up to about 2700 fps depending on the load. Shot to shot velocity is VERY consistent, powder runs through the measure easily, and recoil is milder than with other powders I have used in this gun. Consistently groups 1″ or better at 100 yds. Best powder I have found for this gun.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Accurate 2700
Excellent powder for the .30-06. Out of my Ruger American, I have shot .6 MOA groups at 100, in conjunction with 168 BTHPs that is.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Another application
Used this powder, after a lot of research and careful consideration, for my M1 Garand. I love that rifle and absolutely do not want to bend the NM oprod that is in it. Used 168 gr. Nosler J4s and WW LRP. The thing outshot my M1A with a 12x scope on it with NM iron sights, hands down! I was dropping 8 shots in under an inch all day long at 100 yards. It was ridiculous. I’m making this my permanent M1 Garand powder of choice, no kidding.

Great powder-meters very easily and hardly need the trickler. Perfect with a Barnes 80gr.TTSX in my .257 Bob. Easy 3200FPS. and 1″ or under if I let the barrel cool. In fact I got 3300 with the max load from the Load From A Disc program, but thought that was too much of a good thing, but it looked OK. I am limited on the COAL by the Montana’s magazine; about 2.81 is max.

I tried this powder on a custom 8mm Mauser I put together with a very lite contour barrel and it brought the thing to life! Went from extremely mediocre groups to 3 shots touching in .70″ with Remington Core Locts that weren’t even sorted. Man, this is good stuff…

I love this powder for my 300 win. mag. I use it with Sierra 110 gr. Varminters. I get 3800 fps and sub 1/2 moa groups. Additionally, metering is so consistent that I do not have to trickle every load.
